The Foyer of The Black Iris Club, in the Penthouse of the JDB Building, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Saturday evening, January 23, 2016

Ben grinned as Emma’s eyes widened when they walked into The Black Iris Club’s foyer. If she thought this was something, wait until she got a look around inside. Leigh had kept his word about speaking to Jack Brown about Emma coming into the club to observe, and now they were here for her to sign her confidentiality documents. “Close your mouth, girlie, before you start catching flies.” Emma retaliated with a sharp elbow to his midsection as Leigh stood back and laughed at them. “You two are like a couple of rowdy siblings.”

The good-looking receptionist standing behind the elegant mahogany reception desk had a manila folder of documents ready for Emma to sign. “Good evening, Dr. Braxton, Ben. Ms. Johnson, I have your paperwork here.”

Emma looked through the documents briefly. “Glad to see there’s no bill of sale for my firstborn in here.”

“Don’t worry. It’s in the fine print. Sign already so we can go and have some fun.” Ben was almost as excited as Emma was. He and Leigh had been up to the Black Iris twice since they had started dating, or whatever you wanted to call it. Ben just knew he was having the best time of his life since he and Leigh had hooked up.

“Why don’t we have a drink at the bar so Emma can take a look around the dungeon? Only one drink for you, subbie, since we’ll be taking a tour of the dungeon theme room later tonight.”

“The dungeon, Master?” That made Ben a little nervous. They had played in a few theme rooms between the Iris and the Dahlia, but Leigh had not had him in the main dungeon or the smaller, intimate dungeon theme rooms. A vision of himself suspended helplessly on that monstrous St. Andrew’s cross was enough to have him needing a panty change. But since he didn’t want to appear to be a wuss, he sucked it up and smiled.

“Yes, the dungeon. I think it’s time for you to broaden your horizons.” Leigh had an evil grin on his handsome face.

A skitter of fear zipped down Ben’s spine, and then he just laughed. “Good one, Master.” Another evil grin stretched across Leigh’s face before he ushered them both through the heavy, carved black ebony doors into the main dungeon.

Ben had been right. Now Emma’s expression was downright dazed as she turned full circle and checked out the various stations lit from recessed spots in the high, industrial ceiling. The bright lights bounced red highlights off her shoulder-length, straight, dark brown hair. She wore a short, tight denim skirt and a white Battenburg lace-trimmed camisole and high-heeled red pumps. A slight shadow of her nipples showed through the soft knit fabric. Ben thought she looked terrific. Once they were seated on comfortable leather bar stools next to the beautifully polished, hammered-brass bar and drinks had been ordered, she said, “God, Ben, this place is gorgeous.
